Fitness Classes

£20 a month unlimited use

   We run fitness classes every weekday evening and on a Saturday morning. Our fitness classes are not your run of the mill stuff – we put a strength and conditioning twist on them to ensure you get results. 

Focussing on sessions that are grounded in science we ensure everyone performs everything properly and most importantly, has a good time. With a mixture of circuit classes, boxing sessions, HIIT sessions and core classes your bound to have endless fun with our timetable. Keep an eye out for phase two where our timetable will expand even more! 
   ​Platform Fit is a circuit class with our strength and conditioning twist. The class is split up into 4 zones where you will be faced with a set of exercises relevant to each zone. Once you have worked through all the exercises in each zone you will move to the next zone, ready to tackle a new challenge. Whether it’s the strength zone, boxing zone, power zone or core zone, you’re sure to be challenged in ways you haven’t before! This session lasts around 30 mins.   
   ​Ever wanted to train like a boxer? Well now’s your chance! The boxing blast is a cardio session based on skipping, punching the bags and pads and getting a good sweat on! Lasting around 50 mins this high intensity session is sure to help you let off some steam.   
   ​A fitness class based using purely bodyweight exercises. We really to look get the heart rate pumping by running up to 10 rounds lasting 45s each to hit the lower body, then finish off by aiming for repetitions on a number of upper body exercises. Great for all levels of fitness as exercises are split into beginner / intermediate levels and lasts around 30 minutes.    
   As simple as they come, 10 rounds lasting 1 minute each, with 1 minute rest in between stations to recover. We look to vary exercises each week, whether it’s the battle ropes, hitting the tyre with lump hammers or slamming a medicine ball you’re sure to get a great workout while having fun at the same time. Session last around 30 minutes.
We now have the option of the Core Class which follows the 10x1. Lasting around 15 minutes, we look to bring you away from your usual sit ups, by putting together a circuit consisting of various functional movements to really get the core firing.
   ​Where our Strength and Conditioning, meet’s our Fitness classes. One we are very proud of at Platform, a cardio session which incorporates the staple exercises that you see across our weightlifting sessions. We have 4 Zones – Push, Pull, Legs and The Power Zone. You will complete 3 exercises per zone then move onto the next one. So whether its squats, deadlift, overhead press or sandbag cleans, you will definitely leave feeling pumped. Sessions lasts around 30 minutes.   
   ​Another class where what you see is what you get, similar to the 10x1. You have 4 rounds to power through, each lasting 4 minutes. The rounds are  broken down into 8x 30second stations where we incorporate Tyres, Hammers, Punchbag’s, Kettlebell’s and Bodyweight exercises to really get that heart pumping. You have 3 minutes of rest / active recovery in between rounds, where you may be holding a squat position, plank or similar. This session lasts around 40 mins and is followed by the Core Class.
